Burns Family Farm to invest in NOUVEM Meat Processing Software Solution for their meat processing and meat wholesale business in Moneygold Grange, Co. Sligo.
Burns Family Farm have farmed the land in North Sligo for 280 years; a tradition handed down from father to son, that can be traced “from farm to fork to flavour” since 1740!
Burns Family Farms have also been dry aging their beef and lamb for over 70 years at the family farm. With a processing facility that is fully certified for the slaughter, deboning and packaging of organic meats, they wholesale a full range of beef, lamb and pork products, cut to exact specification. They also offer a service of processing their client’s animals through the whole process from the intake of live animals to the end product on the shelf.
NOUVEM offers them a full abattoir management system and cutting plant software solution, a complete door to door solution perfect for their meat wholesale plant.
The NOUVEM system will improve their operational efficiency and will allow them to comply with all the ever changing food safety legislation, ensuring full traceability in their meat production plant.
We will be implementing a full Kill Line System to include Lairage, Sequencing & Grading. We will also cover Purchase Order Processing, Goods Receipt, Labelling & Traceability, HACCP compliance, EPOS System and full integration to their existing Accounts Package. Highly configurable reporting will be available on all the modules.
